Games and VR
Unity is our main engine, and we use it for VR on Meta Quest too. 2D, 3D and VR games for PC, mobile and the browser. Multiplayer servers, in-game economies, progression and monetisation that doesn't pressure players.
Independent game and app studio
Unity games and VR for Meta Quest, mobile apps for iOS and Android, web services built with React. We also build the server side, databases and AI features behind them ourselves.
What we do
We handle all of it: the app, the server, hosting and release on the App Store and Google Play. After launch, the same people keep working on it.

Unity is our main engine, and we use it for VR on Meta Quest too. 2D, 3D and VR games for PC, mobile and the browser. Multiplayer servers, in-game economies, progression and monetisation that doesn't pressure players.

One React Native and Expo app for both iOS and Android, and Unity for mobile games. Offline mode, payments and subscriptions, push notifications, analytics, and release on the App Store and Google Play.

React and TypeScript in the browser, ASP.NET Core, MySQL and Redis on the server. Subscription services, analytics dashboards, admin panels and websites that load fast and are easy to find in search.

We build AI into products: assistants, text and 3D model generation, automatic translation, moderation. We pick the right model for the job, keep costs in check, test the quality of answers and plan for what happens when the model doesn't respond. We've already built features like these for clients on the OpenAI, Anthropic and OpenRouter APIs.
Selected work
Our own products show what we do best: they're live, people use them, and we look after them every day.
Browser fantasy sandbox MMO
One hero, no classes. Skills level up in real time, even while you're offline. Players craft all the gear, each of the four cities has its own market, and quests are written by an AI game master while the server rolls the dice.
Open LenariaPersonal cash-flow planner
Shows how much free money you'll have each month after loans, subscriptions, taxes and bills, and warns you about tight months ahead of time. Just upload a bank statement and AI sorts the transactions. Accounts in different currencies are kept separate.
Open CashAfterWeekly meal planner
Builds a week of meals around your goal, health and schedule, then sorts the grocery list by store aisle. The first week is free, no card needed.
Open DishweekWe have other projects on the go too. Ask us what we're working on now.
How we work
We get on a call and work out what the product is, who it's for and what has to work by launch. Then you get a list of tasks and a first estimate of time and cost.
We start with the riskiest part: the core mechanic, the key screen, or an integration we're not sure about. You'll have a first version you can try for yourself within the first few weeks.
Every week you get a fresh build on a test server or in TestFlight. From day one the code lives in your repository, with tests and automatic builds, so there are no surprises when we hand the project over.
We release on the App Store and Google Play and set up the servers and monitoring. After launch we don't disappear: we fix bugs, ship updates and build the next version.
Stack
Unity is at the heart of the studio. We learned web development by building products of our own, which we launch and run ourselves.

About
Vimax Studio is a small independent team of developers. We've worked with Unity and VR for Meta Quest for a long time, and we learned web development on our own products. There are no managers in the middle: you talk to the people who write the code.
We don't take on more projects than we can finish, and we keep supporting them after launch. Our own products run on our own servers, so we know what a product costs not just to build, but to keep running after release.
A working version now is better than a perfect one in six months. We release it, see how it goes and improve it.
The app, the server, the database and hosting. One team is responsible for all of it, so there's no one else to blame.
We're upfront about what we know and what we don't. If the scope changes, you hear about it in advance, not from the invoice.
Contact
A few lines are enough: what the product is, who it's for and when you need it. We'll reply with a few questions and a first estimate.
